About the Project

Berachain is an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain built using the Cosmos SDK and secured by the new Proof-of-Liquidity consensus protocol. The project has raised $42 million from top-tier funds such as Polychain Capital, Shima Capital, Tribe Capital, Robot Ventures, GoldenTree Asset, HackVC, and others, with a valuation of $420 million. Berachain has three native tokens:

• BERA for gas fees,
• HONEY as the native stablecoin,
• BGT for decentralized governance.

Berachain is expected to launch this year, with the testnet currently live. There’s a lot of buzz surrounding the project, and for good reason — some of the largest token distributions often come from participating in free activities.

Getting Started with Activities

For those who want a quick start, purchasing NFTs from official collections is an option. However, this requires a larger deposit.

Now, let’s move on to activities anyone can participate in. The only cost here is your time (about 30 minutes per day should be enough).

Set up your wallet: MetaMask is ideal. Head to Chainlist and add the Berachain Artio network.

Adding the Test Network: After importing the network, you’ll need test tokens. Visit the faucet website. If you’re in Russia, use a VPN as the site may restrict access. Enter your wallet address into the designated field.

Request Test Tokens: Click on “Drip Tokens.” The tokens will appear in your wallet within 2 minutes. Note that you can only request 0.1 BERA every 8 hours.

Connect to DEX: After receiving your tokens, visit a DEX and connect your wallet (top right corner). This process will be the same across all sites.

Swap Tokens: Swap your BERA tokens for any tokens on the list. It’s better to perform multiple swaps. Be sure to swap BERA for STGUSDC, as you’ll need it later.

Obtain HONEY Stablecoins: Go to the website, connect your wallet, and swap your STGUSDC for HONEY.

Farm Rewards in BGT: Deposit your tokens into a pool to farm BGT rewards.

Claim Rewards: After some time, visit the “Rewards” tab to claim your BGT tokens, which can later be delegated to a validator.

Delegate BGT Tokens: Next, delegate your BGT tokens to a validator. It’s better to choose validators outside the top 10.

Provide Loans: You can also earn BGT by providing loans on the platform.

Trade Futures: Don’t forget about trading futures. Whether you profit or not is irrelevant; what’s important is your activity.

These are the minimum daily tasks. The more you do, the better.

Additional Activities

Here are some optional activities that could increase your chances of receiving an airdrop:

Create Your Own Token on Berachain: Visit the website, select the Berachain network, and connect your wallet. Deploy your token and experiment with minting, transferring, and burning tokens. It’s recommended to try all the available options.

Participate in Galxe Campaigns:

Visit Galxe, connect your wallet, and complete the tasks. The first campaign involves visiting the faucet site daily to claim 5 points. The second campaign only needs to be done once, with both campaigns ending in March.

Mint NFT from Valhalla (Play-to-Earn game):

Visit the website, connect your wallet, and mint up to 5 NFTs per wallet.

Claim NFT from 0xhoneyjar:

Visit the site, connect your wallet, and mint the OOGA BOOGA Ticket NFT. Occasionally, new NFTs and rewards will appear under the “Events” and “Quests” tabs.

Create a Domain on Beranames:

Visit the website, connect your wallet, and create any domain. It’s recommended to create domains both with and without emojis. You can track your domains under the “My Beranames” tab.

Create Your Own NFT:

Follow the link, connect your wallet, select the Berachain Artio Testnet from the testnet section, and create your own NFT in the “Drops” section

Mint Another NFT from Morkie:

Go to the website, connect your wallet, and verify your account through X (formerly Twitter). You can mint the NFT for 5 MATIC.

Metaverse HQ Campaign:

Participate in this campaign by completing similar tasks as on Galxe and claim another NFT.

Additionally:

• Mint NFT from Boba: Follow the link and mint this NFT.
• Provide Liquidity on Abracadabra: You’ll receive LP tokens, which can be added to the liquidity pool for rewards.

Recommendations:

• Perform all possible tasks daily on each platform.
• Mint all NFTs on Berachain, as this could be a key factor, as seen with Aptos.
• Actively participate in Galxe campaigns, as many projects in Berachain’s ecosystem may reward you in the future.
